Leo Gallery on 376 Wukang Road (Ferguson Lane)
FACES, a group exhibition, was displayed in Leo Gallery from 24 July to 19 September, focusing on how we viewed ourselves and those around us through paintings, sculptures and works on paper. It was the first exhibition held in the expansion of Leo Gallery. www.leogallery.com.cn

The Peninsula Arcade at The Peninsula Shanghai
The Peninsula Arcade at The Peninsula Shanghai was officially announced open on 1 July 2010. The two-storey, 7,000 sq m Peninsula Arcade is home to the 24 international luxury boutiques, two of which have already been selected by their respective brands as their mainland China flagship stores.
66 pieces of art works were displayed in Shanghai Times Square, which were designed by Chinese and Italian artists based on the original Italian cards. The history of Italian cards can be traced back to A.D. 14. This exhibition was organized by the Cultural Office of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai.

In ‘CUT’, Luo Er Qi developed a dialogue between Eastern and Western traditional art through his controversial manifesto. As opposed to full nudes, figures were represented in tradition Chinese art by the depiction of heads and hands. With his focus on anatomy and the figure, Luo Er Qi broke this myth of the body’s absence. His works were a progressive vision of the body and corporal fusion.

The opening ceremony “Abstract Melody” Li Lei Solo Exhibition was held at Shanghai Times Square at 6:30pm on April 20, 2010. Li Lei, the Executive Director of the Shanghai Art Museum displayed his paintings “18 Praises” in Shanghai Times Square. Li Lei’s work left a soft yet vibrant imprint on one’s mind and his seemingly effortless strokes had the effect of evoking a chorus of emotion.
