8 HOURS - Experience a private, full day tour of Shanghai that covers all the essentials including Yu Yuan Garden, the Shanghai Museum and the Arts and Crafts Research Institute.
Our day begins with a visit to Yuyuan Garden, a classic creation of the Ming Dynasty. Then see Shanghai Old Street, which originated during the Qing Dynasty. Afterwards, we will stop at the Bund, Shanghai´s waterfront, well known as the International Architecture Exhibition. From here enjoy wonderful views of both sides of the Huangpu River.
This will be followed by a visit to the Shanghai Museum of Ancient Chinese Art. Home to a collection of over 120,000 precious and rare works in 21 categories, this is the most remarkable cultural institution in the city.
After a delicious lunch, we will drive along the former French Concession and visit the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Store. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple with its priceless jade statues from Burma. Our last stop will be Xin Tian Di, a stylish nightlife district with many boutiques, pubs and restaurants. Enjoy time here on your own or we´ll take you back to your hotel. |
